We went for a walk to Polepatrick today in the sun. We wanted to look for all the signs of nature as part of our It's Alive theme. Our walk also played a lovely role in our Wellness Wednesday /Take 5 Programme. We were able to -
Connect - Connect with nature and each other
Give - we gave our very best listening skills to hear all the birds singing
Keep Learning - we learnt all about how the path we were using used to be the railway line and we also learnt the little black birds in the pond are called moor hens (Can you spot the baby moor hen in the photograph?)
Take Notice - we took notice of everything around us using our senses
Be Active - we walked nearly one a half miles in total!
