It was a pleasure to welcome Rev Elizabeth Stevenson to our school assembly this week. Primary 6 pupils presented the story of 'The Good Samaritan' with a modern day twist. Pupils and staff enjoyed the thought provoking parable and Mr Buckley reminded each of us that it is what is in your heart on the inside that is more important than your outward appearance. The hall was filled with the bright singing and Ellen from P5 closed in prayer. Rev Stevenson thanked everyone for their warm welcome and congratulated the children on their presentation. She brought our assembly to a conclusion by praying with and for all the staff and pupils.
