Today in P5 the children were learning about how they can keep themselves safe when using the internet. The children used the computers in our ICT room to make a poster with key messages about staying safe online.
We learned to be S.M.A.R.T while online:
- Safe: don’t give out personal information.
- Meeting: don’t meet someone you’ve only spoken to online.
- Accepting: don’t accept files you are unsure of.
- Reliable: is the information reliable or telling the truth.
- Tell: if something has worried you then you should tell an adult.
