As part of our thematic learning Primary 7 have been using a variety of sources to carry out research on the First World War. They have viewed short video clips, used books and the Internet. Through these various sources they are developing important research skills such as:

- Assessing reliable and unreliable sources
- Cross-checking
- Skimming and scanning
- Taking notes
