Our challenge this time was - Black ink is made up of different colours, Prove it!
First of all we made a black dot in the middle of a piece of filter paper. Next we used a pencil to drop water onto the black dot. We had to be very careful not to make a hole in the paper! After a few drops the black ink started to spread out. It also started to separate into different colours.
We were able to prove that black ink is made up of lots of colours!
