After yesterday's treat, we headed back for a longer trip to Polepatrick Park today. This doubled as our mile walk as well. We even took our break and had a picnic in the sun. After some playtime, we explored the parts we didn't see yesterday. There were so many beautiful flowers and the birds were singing so loudly today too. Much to our delight the moorhen chicks made another appearance along with their parents. This made our day!
The bluebells in the last pictures were planted by Mrs Doherty's class a few years ago. She was so pleased to see how well they look!
We are so lucky to have a beautiful park to visit right on our doorstep!
