Our writing genre this term is Persuasive Writing.
Our first activity was to learn all about the features of persuasion and use the terms pros and cons.
We were set the task of sorting various statements about having pizza for lunch every day! There were quite a few pros and cons for this. We have also been learning all about healthy eating which really helped with this sorting task.
When we had sorted the statements we had to rank them and select our top 3 pros and top 3 cons. We enjoyed working as a group to complete this task.
