The children enjoyed visiting Bellaghy to learn more about Seamus Heaney. They read and analysed "Churning Day" a poem about making butter. They had the opportunity to churn butter for themselves to experience how hard it is to make butter by hand. It was a great trip and the staff at the center were all very knowledgeable.
