In P5 we have been learning to understand what Fairtrade really means. Together we have completed research tasks, group activities, arts and crafts and have had lots of class discussions.
So far, the children have learnt about:
- Countries that grow/produce Fairtrade items.
- How buying Fairtrade helps support the needs of the farmers.
- How climate change is having a knock on effect to Fairtrade farmers and
- The supply chain of bananas and chocolate.
