In class, we have been learning how to measure lots of different things. We have looked at TIME, WEIGHT (g and kg) and CAPACITY (mls and litres). This week we have been taking advantage of the good weather and have measured lots of distances around the school. To measure the playground and playing field we had to use a trundle wheel. The trundle wheel is wheeled along the ground and each time a metre is measured, the wheel makes a clicking sound. We were all divided up into groups and each person in the group had a particular job to do. It was great being outside in the sunshine.
