We had a very special visitor in P3 today and what a great morning we had!
One of our lovely mums, Carol, is a Civil Engineer and she came and told us all about what her job entails. This links in so well with our Theme 'Digging It Up' as we have been learning all about construction sites and equipment.
Carol reminded us how workers stay safe on site and she showed us some fascinating pictures of amazing buildings from around the world.
We then had the opportunity to design our own tower and make it with spaghetti and jelly babies! We discovered that if we had a strong base and used lots of spaghetti, our tower would withstand our earthquake test.
