A couple of weeks ago the P1 boys and girls had watched a video about how to make a perfect home for worms (a wormery). Following this, we gathered up the materials and resources we needed to replicate what we had seen in the video. It was brilliant! So many intriguing questions were asked during the process. We hope to be able to use some of our daily food scraps from our compost bin to feed the worms. It is also hoped that the nutritious soil that is produced in our wormery will really help the growth of our flowers in our outdoor plot.
