P4/5 have been looking at Pop Art as part of our Superheroes theme. One painting by Piet Mondrian caught our eye as he used bold colours and shapes. We used him as an inspiration to produce our own works of art.
Stage 1 Draw pairs of straight lines to create 4 sided shapes.
Stage 2 Colour between the lines with a black pen or paint.
Stage 3 Colour in the shapes using bright, bold colours.
Some of us chose to use paint while others used felt pens. We are very impressed with all the amazing finished pieces.
