This week P1 have been learning a lovely poem called 'Little Poppy'. We used our hands to print the poppy and learnt what each colour on the poppy stands for. We stood in front of the green screen and chose our favourite poppy background. We were so quiet for the 1 minute silence with the whole school today too!
Little Poppy
Little poppy given to me,
Help to keep us safe and free.
I’ll wear a little poppy,
As red as red can be,
To show that I remember
Those who fought for me.
