Our school hockey team travelled to Antrim to take part in the annual 6-a-side tournament. The girls played really well, winning 2 group games and losing one. This meant they progressed to the quarter finals where they were extremely unlucky to lose to Antrim Primary on penalty runs. However, they put this disappointment to one side and convincingly won their plate semi-final. The girls faced a strong Greystone Primary team and after 10 minutes of nail biting hockey, the game was tied. Another set of penalty runs took place with our team emerging victorious! This was a lovely way to finish the hockey season and a great reward for all the hard work and dedication of the girls.
