We waited in anticipation for the arrival of Holly's daddy today. The excitement could not be contained as it was known that he was travelling by tractor to see us. We weren't 100% sure which type of tractor Farmer John would come in, so we were delighted when the John Deere pulled up and parked in our playground. Some of us had never seen a tractor as big as this, or as close up, therefore it was very special. Farmer John spoke of the safety elements of the tractor, showed us different parts of the tractor and demonstrated how he uses his fertiliser sower. We were informed of the importance of fertiliser for the growth of the grass. We were so grateful for the animal sweets and farm pens that Holly's mummy and daddy sent in for the P1 crew. It is always super when families share their knowledge and experiences with us at any opportunity. In P1 we love to learn in many different ways. Thank you kindly Farmer John!!
