Eco Schools club (P5-P7) have been very busy.
They have been encouraging wildlife into the school grounds by building a Hedgehog Hotel, a log pile and keeping the bird feeders well stocked with bird food for our ever growing bird population.
They have organised a very successful Go Green Day in December and raised £168 for future Eco Schools projects .
They have been promoting "Fruity Friday " with a poster competition and have designed their own posters to be displayed in each classroom . Each Friday members of Eco Schools club have been counting how many children and adults have a piece of fruit for break. The results will be displayed on the Eco Schools notice board at the end of January.
The club also travelled to the Seamus Heaney Centre" Homeplace " in Bellaghy to see a magic show called Reduce Reuse Recycle.
