Ditch the Dark Day was a Massive Success
We had such a good morning in school for our ditch the dark day, with so many people actively travelling (walking, scooting or cycling) into school. It was so nice to have less traffic on the school grounds, the air was cleaner and everyones' mood was certainly brighter than on a normal dull November morning. All the walking, scooting and cycling to school meant that everyone was really awake and ready for learning and having fun in school.
It was also so nice to see everyone wearing their bright clothes and firmly "ditching the dark!" Mr Somerville thinks he should have worn sunglasses to school today as everyone is shining so brightly.
So much fun was had, there is certainly a very "light" atmosphere in school today.
