We have been learning all about Mesolithic life as part of our Prove it theme. Our task was to use clay to depict a Mesolithic camp scene.
First of all we shaped the clay into a square. We had to be careful not to make it too thin! Then we gently scraped the outline of the camp scene. We made sure the round hut was in the centre of the clay.
After a week the clay had completely dried out and we were able to paint it. We chose colours similar to those Mesolithic man would have used.
We are very proud of our wonderful work.
