We had another wonderful and action packed assembly today in school. The Rev Terry Scott talked to the children about Advent and our choir sang some wonderful Christmas songs for everyone.
Rev Scott brought in some Christmas lights and made the following 3 points.
- The lights don’t work unless you plug them in. We are like this, we don’t shine brightly unless we are plugged into God.
- The lights are all different colours and they are all connected. We are like this as we come in all different shapes and sizes, yet we are all connected.
- The lights look best when they are all together. We are like this, as we all work best when we help each other to shine our brightest.
