P1 Mrs Diamond
Hello and welcome to P1 ED.
We are a foundation stage class with seven wonderful P1 children who love to learn, explore and have fun. There are four boys and three girls. In P1, the pupils follow the foundation stage curriculum and learn through a play-based approach. Learning through play helps to develop children’s interests, curiosity and creativity and extend the learning experiences they bring to the classroom.

Our staff will provide children with a rich variety of challenging play activities and other experiences in a stimulating environment. As we progress through this academic year, all pupils will be encouraged to develop skills in the areas of communication, personal and social development through circle-time, PE, music, art, literacy, numeracy, Attention Autism, group activities, Primary Movement and Sensology sessions.
We hope that we have given you some insight into our class. We want you to enjoy seeing some of our learning and what we have been doing in class. We look forward to keeping you updated with what we are getting up to throughout the school year. Please come back soon!
