Today we held an assembly to celebrate World Book Day and it was a huge success! We were fortunate enough to have the local librarian (Mildred) come in to speak with the children about their local library. They discussed how they could become members and learn about the Dewey Decimal System which helps them identify books quickly and easily. It was inspiring to see so many young minds gain insight into the world of reading and learning. Through this special event, we are hopeful that these children will continue on a path of literacy for years to come! We would encourage all families to join and make use of our local library, it is a wonderful resource to have in our town.
